  17. Since there hasn't been much traffic here recently, I thought I'd pose a
  18. little problem for people to play with.  This isn't too hard, but there
  19. are probably a number of interesting solutions.

  21. I always here people bragging about lines of code (some brag about how
  22. much, others about how little, no one brags about having just the right
  23. amount...).  Normally, this goes something like, "Well, if you strip out
  24. blank lines and comments, there's (still/only) XXXX lines of code."

  26. So:

  28.    Write a program that strips out blank lines and comment lines (lines
  29.    that only contain a comment) from Icon programs.  The program should
  30.    accept 0 or more file names as arguments and copy the files to standard
  31.    output with all blank and comment lines removed.  If no arguments are
  32.    given, then the program should read from standard input.
